EPOS and Cisco Partnership Enhances the Customer Experience

EPOS Offers Full Webex Support

We are pleased to announce that EPOS products now have interoperability with Webex. With this addition, EPOS supports Cisco Webex.

The combination of EPOS audio products and Webex is perfect for hybrid work. Together, they help enhance team performance through secure and inclusive collaboration software combined with excellent audio that ensures everyone is heard.

Interoperability with Webex by Cisco

Our close partnership with Cisco allows all EPOS products to be interoperable with Webex. This includes such as the premium EXPAND 80 series as well as ADAPT E1 and 600 series and IMPACT 500, 800 and 1000 series of headsets, both wired and wireless.

Webex Call Control Interoperability

In most cases, EPOS users will no longer require any additional downloads to have full call control interoperability with Webex. They simply need to install a newer version of Webex (which includes the EPOS plugin).
The following call control functionality is supported:

  • Answer, end, and reject call
  • Mute and unmute call
  • Three-way call
  • Dual softphone usage
  • Webex space meeting

Users who have installed Cisco Jabber or Webex do not need EPOS Connect to have call control functionality on their EPOS products.

Note: In more complex cases, the EPOS Connect software may still be required. You can always contact EPOS support for more information.
